I want it to be completely internal to the desktop client. Maybe allow us to set up links to repeating meetings that we need to join within the zoom application itself instead of as a link on our desktop. I totally agree. As a student, there are way too many steps for me to get to my meetings. It is so frustrating not having this feature.

I waste so much time resharing meeting ID, passwords and links, and I am sure its less secure everytime I resend a link. And its frustrating to go to have to go to a website to launch a meeting hosted by someone else every week. How can I get people who struggle with computer literacy to use Zoom when its this hard. We have password-protected meeting IDs for nine different teachers, some of which are not given as links including the password, so that I keep on frantically copying meeting access details between lessons.

If I could just save clickable meeting shortcuts for meetings I do not own within the Zoom Desktop Client…! As bokkagroup. I agree this is a no brainer! Please make our lives easier!

I have recurring links for classes, meetings, and more. My students have different links for every class and lab and such. I think this would be a great feature to have. Adding bookmarks, pinning, or favorites for reoccuring meetings is a definite must have feature. I have so many zoom calls a week that they roll off the recent list. Zoom Meetings are a lot like meetings in person. All you need is a good internet connection. Then, wherever you are becomes your office. At home, on a train, or even in the park.

You can start or join a Zoom Meeting by using a Meeting ID. That’s a digit number that Zoom assigns Select “Save” and the calendar you use will open.

A non-recurring meeting ID also known as a one-time meeting ID will expire 30 days after the scheduled date. You can restart the same meeting ID within the 30 days and if you restart the meeting, it will remain valid for another 30 days. A recurring meeting ID expires if it isn’t used for days. Perhaps you and your team need to hop on a Zoom call at 3pm each day. In that case, having to deal with a new Meeting ID number can be an inconvenience. Fortunately, Zoom lets you schedule those recurring meetings in advance.

You can use the Zoom Scheduler feature using the web portal or mobile app. But this add-on works best if you use the Google Calendar Outlook. Google Calendar will provide you with several options from the drop-down menu. That way, your recurring meetings will take place as frequently as you need them.

Zoom iOS and Android are very versatile and give you a lot of options. But full Zoom features are only available on the web portal.
